Day Seven
Day Seven:
October 31, 2006 Tuesday Evening
Well, today is Halloween, and my first one living in my new place. I heard from one of the neighbors near us that we normally don't get a lot of kids around here, but I have some candy stashed in the cupboard just in case some little ones come by for some candy.
Today was a low-key day today, which is always nice. I had my modern english grammar college class today, which is always interesting--especially today. Everything was going good in the class until we were selected into groups by the teacher. So, there was this one girl who acts like one of those smart-alecky people, we all know the type, right? Well, anyways, she really picks on my good friend Mike who is in the same class as me, and I know she says things about me too, which is fine, but when the teacher told her she would be in my group, she said one of the meanest things in the world. She looked right at me, and pointed when she said this, and said: " I have to work with her?" right in front of the whole class. Now, it took me some time to get over the shock of her non-college level behavior, but after some time had passed this afternoon, I really realized that I should not at all be bothered by this because she is only saying these things because she needs some kind of security for herself, because for some reason she seems very insecure if she is saying these sort of things still, at her age. So, I shrugged it off.
Now, I will not be going to my normal Child Development class on Thursday, so I got my study guide sent to me via e-mail by my wonderful instructor, which I was relieved about. The reason I am not going, is because Kenny is leaving tommorow to go to Arizona. He is looking at a college out there, so I wish him the best of luck.
Tonight, it is scary movies for me, and a nice relaxing bubble bath. Hope you all have a safe evening
God Bless,
