How are all the bloggers doing on this wonderful evening leading up to the new year? I hope you all are doing wonderful and are happy and healthy. I myself have been fighting what feels like a sinus headache all day long, and am just praying that by the time I wake up tommorow morning, it should be cleared away for good. Christmas as usual, was a very nice one well-spent with family and friends. I got some nice gifts, but this year for me it was all about the giving.

These days, my time is spent watching good movies, spending time with my best friend Mallory, and reading tons of great books. I hope everyone out there is enjoying the holiday season

Hello there all the blogging friends who may be reading this today. How is everyone doing in this busy time of bustling around trying to get things perfect for the holiday season? I hope you all are doing well and safely. Here in Michigan, there isnt even a speck of snow on the ground, which is very hard to believe. The weather is supposed to cool down this weekend, but lets hope we will have somewhat of a White Christmas.

I finally got things straightened out at my job earlier in the week, so now the weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I have the weekend shift, which should be a piece of cake. I am looking forward to starting this weekend. Now, last night I went to my weekly ceramics night and we all had a nice time and are looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year.

My plans for the holidays are going to be spent working, spending time with family, and working on new years resolutions.

December 17, 2006 Sunday afternoon

I have not written lately and feel very guilty about that but there are some reasons why I havent written and I will let you know if you were wondering just exactly what those reasons were as best as I can.

The first reason regards problems at work with one of the several managers we have there. There seems to be some kind of communication problems between the managers because it seems like every time I come into work, they either say they didnt know I was coming in or they dont know when to schedule me for the next time I come in. So, when I was walking home from work the other night, I happened to fall down because of my very bad right knee that is dislocated and I landed wrong on my legs. Now, I really do believe I have some sort of angel watching over me because there happened to be a very nice man who helped me walk all the way home and told me I could use him as a crutch.

The second reason I havent been writing is because yesterday and the day before I was very sick and weak from an anxiety attack. But today, my mom and I got mani and pedis and we are planning on going out for a nice dinner later.

Well, what a day it is here in Michigan. The weather is as chilly as weather could be, but the sun is shining really brightly, which makes me smile. I have the day off of work today, which is a blessing since my grandfather's birthday celebration takes place today and he really wants us all together for that. Work has been going so-so for me, except I really will be able to relax when they get my schedule all worked out, but other than that I am just hoping things will get better wth all of that. My last day of college for the winter is coming up and then we focus on spending time with family and friends for the holidays.

Tonights dinner will be catered and lots of fun, I hope

I JUST GOT PAID!!!!

As you can see from the above excitement, I got my first ever official paycheck from my job and it was actually on time like they said to me. I know that I didnt make a ton of money in my short time being there, but still it is nice to know I am getting paid by someone other than family or whatnot. I just got home from a very busy afternoon at work because someone that was supposed to work in the front counter space was either late or just not coming in, so we were running around like chickens without their heads on straight. I worked from 2-6, and didnt even have a break, so I know I will be sleeping good tonight.

I go in again at around the same time, and it should be a fun night. I really have nothing special planned for this evening besides enjoying some good old-fashioned tv after a nice long hot shower

Well, today was definitely a busy and tiring day for this one. It was my very first full day at work, and boy was I tired out when I returned home. Because of the way I always like to be punctual at all times, I arrived about an hour before my shift started, and luckily one of the other girls I work with was on her break so we chatted for a little bit before we both had to go to work.

Now, they tried putting me on the grill station, and I didnt care for it so I took the cleaning job, which was really good but also very tiring. They had me mopping floors, cleaning the stockroom, and a bunch of other little jobs here and there. So, when I got off work we headed right across the street to check out plans for a new cell phone for me. We didnt leave with anything, so we could think about what we were going to get.

Now, for my sunday dinner plans tonight, my mother and I are headed for Denny's tonight. Let me know what your plans are everyone

Well, a new month is upon us, and the weather certainly matches it. The sun is not shining, the coldness is depressing, and all I feel like doing at this point in the day is crawling up in bed and sleeping all night, which I think I might actually do. I worked a three hour shift today, and had to walk home in this mess, which doesnt bother me as much since we live so darn close to work. And then, I spent some time watching the movie Cars. I actually really enjoyed watching that movie because it was so colorful and creative. Boy, the things animation can do, huh?

And then I took a nap before going out to eat with my mom
