Why I Blog

Hey there all you readers out there in Blog world. It is a very chilly day here in Michigan today, so I plan on not leaving this house for the rest of the day. Now, on to my topic for the day, which I dont usually have topics but thought I would try something different and fun.

I was telling someone in my college class that I blog online. They said, why would someone want to do that? Good question. There are a lot of reasons why I enjoy blogging on a daily basis. First of all, I have always used writing as a great way to let things out and I do better when I write. Also, it gives me a chance to chronicle the daily events in my life.

Blogging is a great place to meet people, and become one big community, which in these days, we all need a good community.

It is the dreaded Monday blues, at least for me it is. Luckily, I have gotten to stay inside all day long away from this bitter cold weather we have just been hit with. I just threw some clothes in the washer, and now am bundled up in bed and just relaxing before going back to school tommorow.

I cannot believe this month is already almost over in a number of days. Last night for dinner, we went to a really cozy place called Leons for our sunday night dinner. I had my usual; which is fried clams, and mashed potatoes, and of course a cup of cocao because of the weather and I am not much of a coffee fan these days.

Now, in the book world for me these days, since there really is no romance in my life, I decided to buy a book by Debbie Macomber from the drugstore with two really good Valentine stories in it. I really liked that, if you can believe it and am almost done with the book now.

January 27, 2007 Saturday Morning

It is finally the weekend! Something about a Saturday morning really makes me smile. I love just being able to enjoy spending time with the people I love and not having any worries until Monday. Today will be a slow day around here as far as I am concerned because my mom is working her Midnight Madness tonight at the dealership, which just leaves me and Malli for the night to do whatever we feel like doing, which will probably be just watching a good movie and relaxing. I finally was able to put the button up on my blog about the party coming up very soon, so it should be a lot of fun. I am curious to see how that all goes.

I am going to be watching some good jewlery programming on the Home Shopping Network today, and catching up on my studies for school. So, really not much going on around here except for chores and television.

January 24, 2007 Wensday Morning

I know, I know. I never thought that I would be posting this early in the day either. I guess I just felt like I wanted to do some blogging before the day caught up with me. So, anyways, it is already the middle of the week and it seems like these days are going by very fast. I worked for about four hours this morning so am just a little bit tired but we all know how that is. Its funny because when you see things piling up and messes around the house, it just seems so hard for me to motivate myself to do these things.

So, today will be a day that I am hoping to work out on the treadmill for about 5 minutes to help out this knee; and then I am going to put some clothes in the laundry and then maybe spend some time with my mom.

I hear there is going to be the ultimate blogging party and I will find out more info on that if anyone would be interesting in joining the fun

January 22, 2007 Monday Night

What a long and stressful day today was! Wow! So nice to finally be cuddled under the blankets with my daily dose of reality television. Today was finally my doctors appointment for my knee, and it was pretty painful when he gave me a numbing shot. I had to look away from the needles, because it was a pretty big needle he had there! So, the funniest thing happens: when he gets done with my shot, all the sudden I get really lightheaded; sweaty, overheated, you name it. My nana describes it as all the color was drained out of my skin. So, by lying down and having a little juice; I was just fine for the remainder of the time.

Now, the doctor said that I am going to need to come back for an MRI which is what will determine what they are going to do with me.

So, that was my day and then now when I go down to sleep; I will just wake up to another busy day of classes and snow!

Hope tommorow goes a little better than today did

Well, good evening everone who is blogging out in cyberspace this evening. My weekend was pretty good, how was all of yours? I mostly studied, and enjoyed spending time with my mom and my best friend Mallory.

Getting back into the routine for the week is rough, isnt it? Yeah. Well, now that college has started up again, things are getting better for me because when I wasn't in school, I was pretty darn depressed to tell you the truth. I was very sad because I like being busy and having things ot occupy the time.

Monday will be a busy day with a two hour shift at work in the morning; and then a meeting after. Then, I have the dreaded Dr. appointment to see what the deal is with this crazy knee of mine. What are your plans??

So, that wa my weekend in a nutshell. Tonight, I am planning on watching Desperate Housewives, and just enjoying the last hours of the weekend. Hope you all have a fantastic week, and hope it is a healthy one.

Hope everyone had a safe; healthy, and happy weekend. I know mine was nothing but relaxing and watching movies and being cozy in my house. On Friday, I bought the tickets; which i believe I mentioned in my last posting. Then, I had a pretty interesting night with Kenny out to eat, but wont get into all the details. Lets just say hes mad at me again-- surprise!!!!!!! And then, I came home and spent time with my mother.

Saturday was spent at home just hanging out and then we went to my favorite place to eat called the Grecian Cafe, where I got a coney dog and fries, which I loved.

Today, I just spent the whole day with my mom, and then we ate at home for a change and i had some good chicken nuggets and mashed taters.

How is everyone doing on this gloomy Friday afternoon? Me, not so good. For the last couple of days, I have been feeling pretty drowsy, and all I seem to want to do is sleep, which is totally the opposite of who I am. But, oh well, maybe some writing here and some movies and housework will help out with that.

Also, classes start next week, so my mission is to get transportation to and from school each and every time. I used to have Kenny as my driver, but since he gave up on school and devoted his time to working, he chose to stay with that and resign as my driver. I am going to look up cab companies this afternoon, and see which one looks the best for me.

Tonight, I am going to finally retreat to the mall and get my Justin Timberlake concert tickets!!! I finally got Kenny to go with me, so that should be an interesting night. Now, I also asked Kenny to go to Justin;s new movie; Alpha Dog, which opens up tonight, and I am praying that he says yes to going with me.

Other than that, quiet night at home with the family.

TGIF to all the bloggers out there reading this tonight. I have no clue what the weather is like where you may be, but here in Michigan, as far as I know, it is raining, cold, and just yucky outside. I can definitely feel my allergies kicking in right about now with a little bit of a head cold, which is always a pain in the butt. I hope everyone had a good and healthy new years this year.

I celebrated with my mom and my little cousin this year. It was our first new years eve in our new place, and her first time sleeping over at the new house. Pretty exciting stuff. We took her out to eat to Max and Ermas and then Kenny brought his little brother over for a visit with Toni. They watched this really cute kiddie movie called Monster House, and then they left.

We stayed up just until the countdown, and then we went to bed. It was a very nice night, and we enjoyed having her here a lot.
