Hello to all the fellow bloggers out there! It is so nice to be writing on this last day of the month. This month just flew out the door, didnt it? Anyways, hopefully warm weather will follow this springtime month.

The Ultimate Blogging party is just days away, and boy I am excited just for a couple of reasons. The first one is I have never attended a blogging party of any kind before, so this will be Mellie's Place first party and we are looking very much forward to the party. Also, it will take my mind off of this tragic case going on with Anna Nicole. I mean, I just pray that baby will soon finally be able to be in the arms of her loving daddy.

So, thats whats going on here. Hope all is well and good

Today happens to be one of my favorite days of the week, because it is the weekend of course. I have always loved Saturdays because of the way everyone is all off from work, and the day seems to stretch out because people just feel like being lazy today. They watch the things they never get to see during the week because of all the chaos in their lives; they beg their husbands to work on things they have been asking them to do since they were married; they go through the bills and discuss daily budgets for the upcoming months; they have lunch dates with friends they havent seen in a while; they go shopping for the weeks groceries; they cuddle up in front of a good book or movie.

Thats how I would love to spend my day on a Saturday. How about you? Comments are always welcome here!!

Reasons for not posting

It is semi- late here in Michigan. I am just lying in a dark room except for watching a movie while I am typing this. I know I have not posted in some days, and there is very good reason for that. On Monday, I was feeling fine, did my normal routine all day long, and then for some reason, around mid-afternoon, I started to feel really sick and I had no clue why I was feeling that way. It all started with a headache, and then turned into that quesy feeling in your stomache like you want to throw up, but your body is just not letting you for some odd reason. So, I just lied down and went to bed, just thinking I would sleep it off. Well, not the case, folks. I guess my mom was just tired of hearing me cough so much because I was trying to actually see if anything in my system wanted to come out, and all that managed to make itself come out was just mucus and some jello I had eaten earlier in the day. So, I ended up hiding out in the laundry room so my mother wouldnt hear me coughing, and then finally retreated back into my room to collapse from exhaustion. And that was why I didnt post anything on Monday.

On to Tuesday morning. I woke up a little later than usual, and didnt end up going to class because I knew I was not in the rght frame of mind to go that day. So, I watched the trial of Anna Nicole most of the day, and then went over to my grandparents and had a nice visit with them. We watched movies and caught up on things.

And today, I just walked to the video store, rented some movies, watched more of the trial, went to Denny;s with my mom, and then now just relaxing.

So, it is finally beginning to warm up around here which is something we have been waiting for for quite some time. I really enjoy the weekends, because it is the only chance that I get to really spend some quality time with my mom because she is off on Sundays. She is not home at the moment because today is the day she likes to go shopping for groceries, and then she likes to go to the gym and get a good swim in for about an hour. Last night I think I wiped out the whole video store. The reason I say that is because one of my favorite things to do on weekends especially is rent movies. We had a copoun for a free movie rental, which I ended up getting, and then, I got some older movies I havent seen in quite some time. So, that was a lot of fun.

Today, I am planning on watching those movies, and spending time with my mom.

The weather seems to be shaping up a little better than it was yesterday. I was in school for the whole morning and led into the afternoon. It seems like these days school is the only escape for me from the inside of my home. I am home alone a lot, which is fun for awhile, but then it begins to wear off after awhile. I guess being alone a lot just makes me think about things more, which then makes me become depressed, but I am really working on not focusing on being alone so much these days.

Tonight though, I was thinking I would just catch up on the news, because of the sad death of Anna Nicole. I really liked her for some reason, and have been glued to the news to see the latest stuff that has been going on lately.

So, that is what things are going to be like tonight

happy Valentines to all my bloggers out there who are maybe reading this right now! I hope your day is filled with romance, and if not, please do something for yourself, because thats always fun. I have no Valentine this year, which is fine with me. But ,maybe my community of blogging friends can be my sweeties this year.

So, here in Michigan, it is really a snow day. All the schools are closed, which is always fun for the kids because it means sleeping in. But, I dont have to worry about that because my college class isnt until tommorow. My plans for the whole day is just to relax, watch some movies, and watch the first annual collecters day on qvc in over three years.

TGIF

Bloggers, its finally the weekend, and a little warmer in Michigan. I mean, I am not saying that it is tank top and shorts weather, but it is definitely better than the past couple of weeks.

Now, on to the weekend. I was hoping to have had plans for a lovely afternoon at a play which is taking place at my alma mater, and they are putting on the wizard of oz play. I thought it sounded like something I, along with my cousin and grandma would like to attend since she comes over here every weekend anyways. So, I told my grandma about it a week ago, and she seemed to think it was a good idea, and kept telling me not to worry and that they would be happy to go to this play.

So, just a couple of nights ago, I e-mailed my aunt to confirm our plans for the weekend, and of course, wouldnt you know it, she claims she needs and promised to help out my uncle with things. Now what I find fishy about this whole thing is a couple reasons. First of all, whenever he was doing any kind of project at home, she never needed to be there to help. And second of all, they are coming all the way out here from Warren, which is at least an hour drive to where we all live, just to drop her child off with my grandparents, and for some odd reason, cant seem to find the time to pick us up from the play? Second of all, why do they always need to be out here? It would be so much easier if they just moved out here. But, anyways, I just wont go to the Disney on Ice show that they bought tickets for me and I wasnt even informed of this event until they got the tickets. They just assume that I will go to anything or do anything.

I am now pretty angry, so I better stop blogging for the night

A little better than yesterday

Next month is finally the blogging party hosted by 5 minutes for mom, which I am really looking forward to. I have never been to one of those, and am looking forward to see exactly what they are like. My day went a little better than yesterday, but am still a little upset.

So, the week is mid-way over, which is always a good thing. One thing I have noticed about myself that needs some major changing is the fact that I am too easy to jump whenever someone wants to do something, but whenever I have something in mind that I would like to do with people there is always some excuse for them not to want to do it. For example, I noticed that my alma mater is having a play this weekend and they are doing the wizard of oz. My little cousin Toni is always on this side of town on the weekends and since my grandpa has little patience for her, and also since they are always watching her, I thought we could try something different. So, I e-mailed my aunt with the suggestion, and of course she makes up some excuse about promising my uncle she is going to do something. The only reason I am majorly pissed off about this whole thing is because of the fact that they wanted me to go to an ice show. Great, fine. The only problem was they bought the ticket before even asking me, so that basically traps me into going with them. Well, what if I dont want to go, you know? I never ask these people for anything, and what is a couple of hours of their time, you know?

So, thats my newest dilemma. Will write again soon when this gets solved

Superbowl Sunday

It is Superbowl sunday everyone. I know, for me it is just another day of the week, but it is pretty funny to watch all the guys in our lives get so excited about the big game when I have no clue what is going on. Tonight is going to be a pretty quiet night around here, since I am going to my grandparents for the night because I have my big MRI tommorow. That should be pretty interesting.

My grandma mentioned she wanted to get some chinese food, so thats what dinner is going to be tonight. Hope your favorite team wins, and hope your game day is safe fun and happy

February 2, 2007 Friday afternoon/ evening Thank God its the weekend

Well bloggers, it is the weekend again, which is a relief to everyone who has had a rough week. I know my week was semi-rough, but also semi-interesting. I just realized something when I was deep in thought which I sometimes am, and that is that I am very much a homebody, which means I love being inside my house, and dont really get out all that often; not that I wouldnt like to, but it is just a choice I have made on my own and I really enjoy blogging, surfing the web, reading, watching tv, scrapbooking, and just things of that nature. I am also an avid solitare player and have become very good at it. The only thing that has been depressing me lately is the fact that I havent been able to go to ceramics lately. That is the one and only place where I have what one would call a social outlet and it gives me a chance to kind of come out of my shell and let loose. I have really missed going, but I am willing to sacrifice certain things for school.

On to this weekend... nothing special planned, just trying to get my room in order, and help my mom out with all of the dreaded household chores that need to be done. Even though we live in an apartment, we still have a ton of things to get done around here, which means teamwork is key when it comes to all of the chores that need to be done.

Tonight I plan on catching up on some laundry which I dont really enjoy doing, but it needs to get done, so that is why I am doing it. Then, I plan on cozying up under the blankets with a good book or maybe a good movie. I heard Steel Magnolia is on tonight, and I plan on watching that until it is time to go out tonight with mom for a late night snack, and then off to my current hangout-- the video store to rent the black dahlia, which I have just been dying to see and hope I will like it as much as I think I will.

Febuary 1, 2007 Thursday Afternoon

I am so shocked that we are already done with January! I am so stunned. This weekend is a very big weekend for all of the men in our lives. On Sunday, it is the superbowl, and it should be pretty exciting around here to see how excited the men get about the big game, whereas the women have no clue what the heck is going on-- at least, I dont.

I am going to be spending the night with my grandparents; which I havent done in I dont know how many years. The only reason why is because I have a very big day on Monday morning. I am going in for my MRI, which is pretty scary, but hopefully we can get down to why this is happening. Anyways, that is what my weekend looks like so far.

As for today, however, I had a pretty interesting morning. Now, I usually take a cab into school twice a week because Kenny is no longer available to take me. So, today, I finally got up the nerve to ask this boy in my class, whom I might add is very cute, but has a girlfriend of course, for a ride home. So, that was great since it saved me so much money and all of that good stuff.

Tongight, I really dont know what is going to happen, but I plan on cozying up with a good romance novel. Share your comments please
